Introduction

In 2002, a group of passionate, highly qualified and experienced professional guides came together to form the Okavango Guiding School (OGS). We realised the need to provide comprehensive and holistic training and assessment aligned to South African and Botswana guiding standards.
 
Each of our directors have more than 10 years guiding experience, as well as years of experience in the training, development and assessment of professional guides and nature lovers.
 
Our trainers all hold Level 3, or higher, guiding qualifications under the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA). They are endorsed under the Botswana Training Authority (BOTA) and FGASA, and hold professional guide licenses in Botswana.
